PeeWee BB win Beaverloch Farms Tournament!!
Collingwood Blackhawks PeeWee BB played hard to win last weekend's Thorold Beaverloch Farms Tournament.
The team started out the preliminary round on Friday with a convincing 8-0 win over Port Stanley and continued a successful day with a 3-1 victory over Nepean.
Saturday early morning game ended in a 2-2 tie with Port Colborne but the team battled back with a 3-0 win later that day against the host Thorold team.
The hard play and great effort earned the team a first place spot at the end of the preliminaries and resulted in a spot straight to the finals on Sunday.
Sunday's championship game put our Blackhawks back up against the hometown team. The boys played to a 2-1 victory to win the PeeWee division of the 2015 Thorold Beaverloch Farms Tournament.
Coaches and parents are proud of the team's efforts, spirit and sportsmanship. Congratulations team!
