Thunder outdone by Lightening Fast Hawks
Great game by the PeeWee A/E Blackhawks today against the Oro Thunder. Collingwood is now undefeated in two in a row on the back of two tremendous efforts. The Hawks led for the entire game until the 8 minute mark of the third period, when they ran into penalty trouble. While playing the remainder of the game shorthanded the Hawks stayed in it right to the end. The team had a chance to take the lead with 4.2 seconds left and a face off in the Thunder end with our goalie pulled. Unfortunately time expired just before the shot was taken. Coaches and parents alike are proud of the effort. Players will be loading up on the carbs tonight and getting ready for a big game against Elmvale tomorrow!
