Atom AE3, Atom, 2016-2017 (Collingwood Minor Hockey)

Collingwood Atom AE3 took the show on the road to Niagara Falls, they played outstanding hockey winning the first three games before falling short to the International champions San Jose JR sharks.(Coaches Owen Nolan and Evgini Nabokov)The players had a great time pin trading and a trip to the water park eased the pain of the loss.I was impressed with the grit and determination our players played with,nothing seems impossible for these young men. Did Collingwood proud!!!!

Congrats to all the players on winning the Silver Stick tournament in Collingwood this weekend.Big thanks to Dale and his people for doing a fantastic running the tournament. The Atom A/E 3 team got the job done with a total team effort and outstanding goaltending all weekend long,out working the strong competition in nail biting thrillers from start to finish.Thanks to everyone involved players,coaches and parents it is a special group of players and I am very proud to be a small part of it Coach Mike!!!!! 

Atom A/E 3 Blackhawks will play on Championship Sunday at Eddie Bush 10:50 am. Please come cheer on players, these players have grind out 3 one goal games to give themselves a chance at advancing to the International Silver Stick. Go Hawks!!!!
