PeeWee AE3 - C.C. Tatham & Associates Ltd., 2018-2019 (Collingwood Minor Hockey)

Congratulations Peewee AE's on winning the OMHA Championship.  I'm very proud of the kids for gutting out an epic battle with Strathroy, winning it in Game 5 in hostile territory.  The kids got out to a 2-0 after the 1st Period, and 4-0 after the 2nd Period.  Early in the 3rd Period, the fire alarm was pulled and both teams played in a distracting conditions for about 5 minutes.  Strathroy went on the PP and scored 2 goals quickly to make the game tight at 4-2.  Then the building was evacuated for several minutes before play resumed.  At 2 minutes remaining, Strathroy goalie pulled, Reid ...

On January 19, 2019 the Peewee AE3's joined forces with Barrie Colts AE club to raise money for NHL (Non Hodgkins Lymphoma) and to recognize the recent battles of Wyatt Delage and Deb Shackell.  Oddly there are several connections bw the two teams through both work and friends.  Approx $1000 raised on the day which included some great hockey highlighted by true sportsmanship.  A great cause, a great day...

The Peewee AE3 team just returned home after a tough loss in Tier 1 Int S/S to the London Bandits Major team.  A real strong team, London went on to win the Int S/S title.  I'm so proud of the boys battling against Cambridge and London and giving those AAA centres solid battles. It was a marvelous weekend overall for the kids hanging out at the Skyline with the other Collingwood teams.  The Peewee AE3's are playing great hockey right now and look forward to the upcoming battle with Barrie Colts.  Here's the group picture and sometimes you get lucky, meeting the Tampa Bay Lightning at the ...

On December 16th, the Peewee AE3 team held a 3v3 tourney at Bambers Barn in the Mountain.  They raised $1000 for Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS) of Georgian Bay.  Kevin Bambrough, a huge Collingwood supporter has started a new campaign for BBBS with links below.  Please share your story of your Mentor and donate to this great Not for Profit organization.  And btw, the kids had a blast doing so!! www.BeBigger.com #BeBigger

Congratulations to the Peewee AE3 boys winning the Regional S/S and qualifying for the Pelham International.  Although the score may seem like an average game, I can assure you it felt like a 2-1 "down to the wire" victory.  We would like to dedicate this victory to the Atom AE3 team succumbing in a Shootout.  They are a team worthy of advancing and have many great moments ahead of them.  Lastly, thanks to the CMHA for support of AE teams and the development they represent.
