Atom LL 1 - Midland Winterfest Champions, News, Atom LL1, 2014-2015 (Collingwood Minor Hockey)

Congratulation to the Atom LL 1 team, who won the 2015 Midland Winterfest Atom tournament on Sun Feb 1st.  




The team played 3 great games, never backed down or gave up when it got tough.  
Game 1 vs Elmvale 3 was a solid game with Christopher Hunter-Hall making some great saves all game to keep us in the lead.  We were lead by 2 goals from Cade Rennie and one each from Jacob Muirhead (GWG) and Tyler Roche.  

Game 2 vs Barrie #1 was a 8-1 win with 2 goals each from Seth Dynes (GWG), Tyler and Cade, plus 1 goal each from Jacob and Grant MacLeod. 

Game 3 Finals vs Lefroy was a hard fought, come from behind 4-3 win.  Christopher was game MVP and played awesome all day, as well won the Goalie skills competition.   Cade lead us with 2 goals and one from Grant, but with 38 seconds left in the 3rd in a 3-3 tie, Tyler Roche, ripped a wrist shot past their goalie for the win. 

Awesome play all tournament from the defence - Bronwyn, Mackenzie, Max and Seth, plus strong wing play from Tanner, Quinn, Lachlan, Dylan and Hunter made it a true team win. 

Fun times for all the parents and coaches and we thank you all for being there for a long day.
