
Registration Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. The following policy explains how registration refunds work for the current hockey season. Refund amounts are based on the date written notice of withdrawal is received by the CMH Registrar.
Refund Schedule
• On or before September 30 – 90% refund of registration fees
• October 1 – October 31 – 75% refund of registration fees
• November 1 – December 31 – 50% refund of registration fees
• After December 31 – No refund
Refund percentages apply to base registration fees only.
Important Notes
Late Fees Late fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Tryout / Evaluation Fees Tryout and evaluation fees are non-refundable once a player has participated in any on-ice session.
Rep (AA/B) Program Fees Additional Rep program fees are non-refundable once teams are finalized and submitted to the OMHA.
Team Fees Team-level fees (tournaments, apparel, special events, etc.) are managed by individual teams and are not covered under this refund policy.
Medical Withdrawal If a player cannot continue due to medical reasons, a physician’s note is required. Refunds follow the schedule above. Insurance claims through Hockey Canada/OHF may apply where appropriate.
Suspensions or Discipline No refunds will be issued for suspensions or removal due to violation of Association or governing body policies.
How to Request a Refund

The effective withdrawal date is the date written notice is received.
Approved refunds are processed within 30 days and issued to the original payor whenever possible.
