๐๏ธ Remembrance Day Reminder
On behalf of CMHA, we extend our deepest gratitude to our veterans and active service members.
Their courage and commitment remind us daily of the importance of teamwork, discipline, and respect — the same values we strive to teach through hockey.
CMHA encourages all teams to attend local Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Collingwood Cenotaph wearing their CMHA jerseys to show respect and community pride.
This is a great opportunity to honour our veterans and reflect on the values of teamwork, respect, and resilience—both on and off the ice.
Special thanks to the Collingwood Legion for welcoming our teams each year.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Gary Jeffrey and All Our Incredible Volunteers
As the Huronia Tournament 2025 concludes, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Gary Jeffrey, our Tournament Director, and every volunteer who helped make this event such a tremendous success. Your dedication, energy, and hard work were evident in every detail — from welcoming teams, families, and out-of-town guests, to coordinating schedules and ensuring that the U10A, U12A, U14A, and U16A divisions ran smoothly and safely. Our most successful Huronia Tournament ever!
We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both our visiting teams and local participants. Guests remarked on the professionalism, organization, and warm hospitality they experienced, and it’s clear that your efforts created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Huge shout out to ALL Town Staff at all municipal rinks for the cleanliness and well kept arenas!
This tournament would not have been possible without the teamwork and commitment of every volunteer. From setup to cleanup, registration to rink-side support, your contributions reflected the very best of the Collingwood Minor Hockey community. Because of your hard work, the 2025 Huronia Tournament was more than just a competition — it was a celebration of sportsmanship, community, and dedication.
We are so proud of the collective effort, and we hope each of you feels the immense appreciation of everyone whose weekend was made special by your efforts. Your energy, enthusiasm, and commitment have set a high standard for tournaments to come, and we look forward to celebrating many more successes together in the future.
Thank you for giving your time, talent, and heart to make the Huronia Tournament 2025 an extraordinary event. We couldn’t have done it without you!
With deepest appreciation,
CMHA
