Registration Open for TRYOUTS that Start May 3rd (the deadline to register and pay tryout fee is May 1st) Check the Tryout Schedule on our website, note time changes may occur so check back often https://collingwoodhockey.com/Calendar/?Month=5&Year=2025
- Registration for (U9MD - TRYOUTS in FALL) , U10, U11, U12, U13, U15, U16 (U18A-TRYOUTS in FALL), and U21 (Any B Teams TRYOUT in Fall)
- Any registrations after this date will be placed on the waiting list. There’s no guarantee a spot will be available for players who register late.
Late Registration Fees:
- For U18, U16, U15, U14, U13, U12, U11, U10: Fees increase by $100 starting August 1st, 2025.
- For U8 and U9: Fees increase by $50 starting August 1st, 2025.
- CHIPs Programs: Registration will remain open until a later date (TBD), with payment due at registration.
Important:
- You must be Respect in Sport Parent Certified before registering online. Once certified, your data will automatically transfer to the HRC system, which grants access to registration. Certification link: Respect in Sport
- If you’re already certified, upload your past certificate to gain access.
Once you visit the site, you'll see four options: New registration, Import Certificate, Re-certify, and Look up Certificate. There are also options to recover your username or password.
New Player Registration:
- Don’t register your child through the link first. Complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program first to create a profile and get an HCR number.
- Then, register your child for hockey here: Collingwood Hockey Registration.
- You’ll need to create an account using the HCR number from the Respect in Sport program.
For new players: You’ll also need to provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of address (e.g., a government-issued ID or a utility bill) to confirm their age and address.
Payment Options:
- Preferred method: Credit card payments during registration.
- You have two payment options:
- Pay the full amount upfront.
- Installment plan:
- 10% at registration
- 30% by June 1, 2025
- 30% by July 15, 2025
- 30% by August 31, 2025 (remaining balance)

Important: Registration is only complete when all info, certifications (Respect in Sport), and payments are submitted. Players will not be allowed on the ice until everything is in order.

Refunds:
- Up to September 30th: 90% refund
- October: 75% refund
- November: 50% refund
- December onwards: No refund
Family Discount:
- Families registering three or more players will get a $100 discount for each player after the second.
Team Fees:
- Players may need to pay additional "team fees" set by individual teams to cover extra costs during the season. These fees are separate from the registration fees.
Non-Resident Players (NRPs):
- Please note that the tryout fee is $150.

NRP (Non-Resident Player): A player or goalie whose primary residence is outside the Town of Collingwood.
Please Note: If you were issued an NRP Passport during the 2024/2025 season and still reside outside Collingwood, you will continue to be classified as a Non-Resident Player for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
