I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Collingwood Minor Hockey Players, who volunteered by being route marshals, water station attendees, helped with set up and tear down and also participated in the run!

Thanks to everyone’s hard work, Blue Mountain/Collingwood has raised an impressive total of $63,722 (and counting)! Run for a Cure is Canada's largest single-day, volunteer-led event in support of the breast cancer cause. Funds raised go to support scientific research and to support people diagnosed with cancer. Funds cover the costs of transportation for cancer treatment, stays at CCS lodges and for items including breast prostheses, wigs and head coverings.
