Attention Collingwood !!
Great weekend so far with some amazing hockey by our Local teams!! This is thanks to noteworthy gentlemen like Dale West and Scott Hewlitt, bringing the tournament together and again a success for all kids from all communities.
It has been an epic weekend with our local teams, fielding 2 strong teams in each division, and making for some great competitive hockey in the Regional S/S.
U11's finished 2nd in both A and B pools and put up a fight in Semis only to come up shy.
U13's ran into tough competition in always strong age division.
U15's faced each other in Semis in what was an epic battle, U15L1 winning in shootout and moving on to face the Huron Bruce Blizzard in Championship game.
U18's both teams facing adversaries in Semis and winning in convincing ways. Now it will be U18LL1 vs. U18LL2 in the Championship game expecting to be a real barn burner perfect for Eddie Bush!
I would like to ask everyone to come out for the Championships tomorrow at Eddie Bush at 230 and 400 which expects to be some great hockey! Lets pack the house for these kids!
Further this is a big send off for Dale West in his last Silverstick tournament which he has turned into a massive success for our community. Come out and support Dale in his Send-off ... just look for the guy in the Green Jacket !!
