Rep and Local - what to expect coming up...
Hi Cmha,
Now that Rep tryouts are under way, there are several directions in which players can go.
If your player does not make a Rep roster, they will default to Local league rosters. They may also be affiliated players to rep rosters if signed and accepted.
Local league teams for U14-U18 will be formed up shortly based on registration numbers, goalie numbers, and coach availability. Please indicate to Mike Rys if you are interested in being a LL Coach.
The option of having more competitive Local league SELECT teams will be considered based on registration numbers, ability, and commitment to such.
SELECT teams can be formed within Local League to play in tournaments through the year. The Cmha is willling to pay for 1 Select tournament for players chosen in this path. This will assist in maintaining higher competition and development and having fun.
Please stay involved as with the inception of 'A' hockey, as we feel our Local league rosters will be stronger. We are committed to finding the best fit to continue the development of players at all levels.
