Try-Outs !!
With tryouts now well under way, it’s amazing to see the dedication of both the players and parents back at the rink supporting the sport we all love. When entering the rink, please be sure to adhere to the TOC Covid policies and procedures. We’d like to thank all of you who have been making efforts in creating a safe and successful transition period at the rink.
This new season brings new policies and procedures; so we ask for your patience while the CMHA board members and coaches sign you in for your first tryout. One of the new highlights of our rebranding is that every player trying out will receive a ‘tryout jersey’ with color matching to our new color scheme (Royal Blue, Yellow and White) to USE for the first two tryouts. At the end of the second tryout, these jerseys will be collected and returned to the CMHA association.
If your child makes it through to the next round of tryouts, they will be given another jersey at the time of the next round, which will once again be returned post tryout. Players should arrive NO earlier than 30 min prior to your scheduled Tryout time. Please make certain each player brings their own water bottle. It is very important to keep a close eye on the website to ensure parents and players remain up to date with the tryout schedule, as changes might occur.
While we do our very best to keep the schedule that is posted unchanged; however, there may be changes with times/dates due to potential conflicts that could arise, so it is best to check the schedule regularly. Finally …….. I want to say to the players work hard…… have intensity on the ice……..most of all……. Have FUN!
