CMHA Re-Branding to the "Blues"
Submitted By Dave Epp on Friday, June 12, 2020
Recently the CMHA polled the membership regarding the idea of re-branding as the "Blues".  This was broadcast through the Association's Coaches, Website, and Email.  The question that was asked is as follows "Does your child/family support the proposed re-branding from Collingwood Blackhawks to Collingwood Blues?

The following were the results received of the 403 members.  180 Respondents (45%) and 233 Non-Respondents (55%).  Those responding YES in favour of "Blues" were 135 (80%) and those responding NO not in favour were 34 (20%).

This positive response is consistent with the Board decision to brand with the Blues name and logo for the future.  No branding change will happen during the immediate season due to uncertainty of play and registration numbers, however the CMHA looks forward to transitioning to the "Blues" branding for years to come!
