Permission to Skate forms and Non-Resident Player Passports. To receive a Permission to Skate (PTS) or Non-Resident Passport (NRP) you must first register your player with Collingwood Minor Hockey before a PTS or NRP will be provided. Permission to Skate forms are available for players Minor Atom and up (as per OMHA Regulation 3.5) who would like to try out for AAA. CMHA designated AAA centre is Grey Bruce Highlanders.  Non-Resident passports is for players Minor PeeWee and up (as per OMHA Regulation 3.5) who would like to try out for AA or A in an OMHA centre of their choosing.  Only ONE passport can be issued per player and teams may accept a maximum of 3 NRP players per team. New this year – there are no residential restrictions for try-outs for AA or A however you can only try-out for the base category of chosen centre. (i.e. Barrie is a AA base centre so you can only try-out for AA you cannot try out for A in Barrie) Players not offered a roster spot will return to CMHA tryouts. Permission is good for one season only and players must return to their home centre at the end of the season.   Player's must request new PTS or NRP documents each season through CMHA. Please email Penny at [email protected] to request either form.  Please indicate the following in your email: Player’s name Players date of birth Team/centre where they played last year Team/centre where they wish to try-out   Failure to include all of the above information and/or pre-register will cause delays in completion of forms. Players are responsible for signing up for AAA, AA and A tryouts with the centre of their choosing. Fees and sign up instructions vary by centre. PTS forms will be emailed back electronically. NRP forms can be picked up at the CMHA mailbox at Central arena once complete.
