Aylmer AE Tournament Victory
Aylmer AE Tourney was a blast !!  We started out early with a bad game but improved steadily as the weekend progressed.  4 games later, we are victorious in the Championship.  Read the rest of the article for the breakdown !

Friday started out miserable with a 4-1 LOSS to Penetang.  But Saturday the boys turned it around... In Game 2 we played Listowel and came back from 2 x 1 goal deficits and tied the match at 4-4 with 1:34 left in the game. It was an exciting game to watch. This TIE proved crucial being able to still qualify for the Championship.  Game 3, we played New Hamburg, who clearly showed up expecting to win.  Caught off guard, we scored 4 goals to their 2.  The game quickly got heated and was a real barn burner to watch bringing spectators over from the other rink.  Thanks to the Atom AE4 team coming out to support us and cheer us on.  It definetely helped pump up the kids. After winning this game with a little help from the other qualifier, we advanced to the FINALS versus our arch rival Penetang who we've played 8 times this year.  We came out strong in this game, being dubbed the "Road to Revenge" and went up 4-0 by the end of the second period.  They scored a late goal in the 3rd period to make the final tally 4-1 for Collingwood.  Our Goalies Reid MacLeod and Nate Ryan were lights out the entire weekend !!  I personally am thankful for a great weekend of hockey and social.  Thanks to the entire Bantam AE team and families, and Coach Todd Hammond.  Now on to OMHA's !
