Blackhawks Defeat Midland in the OMHA Play Downs
The Play It Again Sports Novice Blackhawks defeated Midland in 3 straight games to take the OMHA series on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks played three thrilling games, 2 of which went to overtime and one where a winning goal was scored with less than a minute left on the clock!
The kids played their hearts out and really came together as a team. Especially in the last game when tension was high, our kids worked hard on the back check and our goalie, Graydon Potts stood on his head to keep us in the game! The coaching staff and parents couldn't be more proud of the kids for the effort shown winning three games in four days! Great job to the whole team including our awesome cheering section!
Our next series will start soon against a tough Penetang team. Lets Go Blackhawks!! Let's show them what we've got!
