Novice BB Start The Season Off 1-1
What a great first week of the regular season! The Novice BB Blackhawks played Owen Sound on Wednesday. The first period was a little rocky and the Hawks went down 4-0 quickly! However, the team battled back and played much better in the 2nd and 3rd period! The team battled back with goals by Ryo, Hunter W and Nash (2). The defense battled hard and our goalie Graydon came up with some big stops! We almost scored again with our goalie pulled and a power play but came up short losing 6-4. We were proud of how the team didn't give up and fought back to make it a close game!
On Saturday, the team traveled all the way to Huntsville to face the Otters! The Hawks picked up right where they left off on Wednesday and stunned the Otters with an 8-3 win! Everyone pitched in for the win. The work put in during practice showed! We had many scorers Cam (2), Emma, Mason, Hunter W, Riley, Nash and special mention to Hunter R who scored his first goal EVER!!!! Graydon stood on his head for the team and deserved the player of the game helmet!
We hope everyone enjoyed some Thanksgiving time with their family and are ready to work off that turkey at our Thanksgiving Monday Practice!!
