2014-15 OMHA Atom AE3 Champions!
Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of the Collingwood Blackhawks Hume Street Dental Centre Atom AE3 team on winning the OMHA Championship! The team's journey started January 15th with win number one versus Penetanguishene. It ended today after winning five consecutive series and fifteen straight games to win the title.
This group of talented kids have consistently played well as a team this season and it all came together during this special fifteen game run. All those associated with the team are very proud of each player for their effort, dedication, sportsmanship and camaraderie.
A special thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, siblings, family and friends who were able to join us this weekend and along the way as the team travelled to Penetanguishene, Elmvale, Kincardine, Port Hope and finally St. Marys to complete the Championship run.
Thank you to our hosts this weekend the St. Marys Rock for making our players and families feel welcomed. Last but not least thank you to the coaching staff, the Association and the many volunteers who have assisted and contributed to the success of this team. It is greatly appreciated.
