Silver Stick Champions
Congratulations to the Collingwood Blackhawks Atom AE 3 team for winning the Collingwood Silver Stick tournament. After going 2-0-1 in the round robin Collingwood defeated Dorchester 3-0 in the semi-finals to advance to the finals versus the St. Mary's Rock. In the opening round Collingwood played St. Mary's to a 1-1 tie. The rematch did not disappoint as after three periods of play the teams were once again tied at 1-1. However, the Hawks prevailed as #3 Jayden Bailey found the back of the net to win the Championship.
The Hawks now advance to the International Silver Stick tournament in Pelham, ON in the New Year. Congratulations to St. Mary's for two fantastic games. Thank you to Dale and Linda West and your team for hosting the tournament and congratulations to the Hawks for a great weekend of hockey!
