The U18 Jr. Blues headed to Ottawa for a massive showcase weekend — and what a grind it was.
Six games in three days (five for our boys + one Ottawa 67’s game!) and the Blues battled in every single one.
The hockey was fast, physical, and full of emotion — including some “creative” officiating that had both benches sending a few too many players to the box at times.
At one point the Blues had four players in the box, and somehow kept the game close. Every kill felt like its own mini-battle.
They fought their way to the semifinals, giving everything they had against a tough hometown team. The boys left it all on the ice, and while the loss stung, nobody was sad about not having to make a late-night trek across Ottawa for finals.
This group played hard, played together, and represented Collingwood with pride and resilience.
